Taylor being all cute and stuff...

Recently Robert Pattinson was asked in an interview who he thought would win out of a competition between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Of course, he thinks Edward and Taylor thinks Jacob - c'mon boys, put it away......

Anyway Robert went on to say:
"I did hear, the other day, that Taylor had agreed to an interview where the interviewer was going to fight him. I don't think I'd ever agree to that. And after looking at Taylor's martial arts videos from when he was like nine, I wouldn't really want to do anything. Maybe if I had some kind of weapon..." - RPattz

So check out this cute vid of Taylor doing his ninja thing as a kid.

Taylor on Wolfpack Tattoo.

During today's The Twilight Saga: New Moon press conference, the Wolfpack members discussed possible plans for a permanent souvenir of their time as brothers in The Twilight Saga.

celebuzz twittered:
All 4 of the wolves here have tattos that had to be covered. They are thinking about getting the actual Quileute wolfpack tattoo together!

The tattoo (pictured on Alex Meraz) is featured on all the members of the wolfpack. Radar Online had a great article (from way back in September) with Chaske Spencer and he talks about the New Moon Wolfpack tattoo, which actually stemmed from a fan question TwiCrackAddict:

Radar: Lorabelle from Twicrackaddict.blogspot.com wanted to ask you question - What do you think about the wolf-pack tattoo - and do you know whether it's meant to be a "birth mark" kind of thing - especially considering the wolves heal and so might not technically be able to be tattoood once they've transformed?

Spencer: That is a deep question and I never thought about it! We're all talking after the film is over the Wolf pack might get tattoos. We all have tattoos, they're addicting. It would be nice to take off to a tattoo parlor after the installment is over. We talk about it. I really like the tattoo, if you really look at the design it's two wolves. Maybe it's an imprint? Maybe it's an imprint of the wolf god, the one that was a shape shifter in ancient times.

Today, Taylor Lautner expressed that he was "not sure about getting the Quileute tat with the rest of the pack." (via Celebuzz).

So what do the fans think? I for one, am not a huge fan of tribal tattoos. However, these guys can make anything look sexy, so I think I could deal with waking up to that every day. Seriously, let me. I'll prove it!

New Moon Roundup

Twitter was going crazy when I woke up this morning - all because of the buzz surrounding the New Moon Press Conference.

The cast of Twilight Sage: New Moon were out to discuss their upcoming roles in New Moon, set to be released in less than two weeks.

TeamRussetWolf were following @HitFixDaniel , @elguapo1 , and celebuzz as they live-tweeted from the press room.

They started the junket with KStew, who was reportedly at ease and more confident when responding to questions.

The Cullens
came out shortly after, though missing PFach (in NY shooting Nurse Jackie).

"Do you know Rob Pattinson?" was the unanimous question the Cullens are sick of answering. (via Daniel Feinberg)

The Volturi came out next: Michael Sheen entertained with some cute jokes and many twitterers were commenting how Fanning was "all grown up."

Next it was the Wolfpack. *squeal* Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Bronson Pelletier and Kiowa Gordon all made an appearance. Celebuzz observed that "These boys are all playing off each other -they really r like brothers. Hard to catch a quote. Chaske is def the leader onscreen and off. :)"

Taylor *faint* was up next, and these were the tweets that were twittered as he entered the room...

Taylor Lautner is in the room! - Celebuzz

Taylor is wearing a grey suit with white button shirt. Looking dapper! - George Roush

"Enter, Taylor Lautner. I remember the press day for "Shark Boy and Lava Girl.""- Daniel Feinberg

After Taylor, Rob came out and had his turn. Apparently they saved the biggest star (with the smallest role) for last *sigh*. J/K we were all extremely excited when it was his turn - you can't help it - that fan-girl excitement is just plain infectious!

After it was over, the cast headed over to Hot Topic at Hollywood & Highland to meet the fans, be screamed at and answer some questions.

And that just about rounds-up this huge Twilight Saga day!!

KStew: the wolves make New Moon "more animalistic and more violent."

Check out the new clip made available last week from the Twilight Saga: New Moon podcast on iTunes. We get to see some behind the scenes footage, storyboards, cgi wolves and stunt work.

Clips of Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Chris Weitz (Director), Phil Tippett (visual effects supervisor), Tom Gibbons (animation supervisor), Nate Fredenburg (Art Director), Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam), and Kristen Stewart (Bella) are scattered throughout some awesome new clips of the wolves phasing and a snippet of the showdown with the wolves vs. Laurent plus the wolves vs. Victoria.

TayLaut explains that New Moon is stepping up the action through the world of the werewolves.

Chris Weitz and his crew explain some of the cgi and sfx that have gone into creating the wolves and members of the wolf-pack Alex and Chaske explain that the relationship between the wolves as "reminiscent of real wolves" where signals, status and body language allow them to be completely in sync with the other members of the pack.

I seriously can't wait to see more in the DVD special features!

Thanks iTunes!

TayLaut in Mexico: when bad suits happen to good wolves.

Our very own Russet Wolf was spotted in Mexico City on November 2nd, kindly posing in photographs with some lucky fans and signing autographs. Unfortunately for us, he was wearing this suit.

Don't jump to conclusions that I'm complaining because there is not one inch of abdominal or biceps muscle in sight - that isn't the entire reason for all the hate.

I feel bad for the guy because he usually gets it right, but this suit makes him look old and stuffy. And maybe even itchy.

It may be just the lighting and unforgiving flashing from the fan cameras, but the colour of the fabric is all wrong and it washes out his naturally flawless dark skin tone.

On the plus side, his hair is all the way right, and his face is (as always) ever-so-cute.

All I'm asking is that he bring back the dirty jeans / leather jacket / black t-shirt look that we have all come to love and admire.

Puh-leeeease Tayloorrrrrrr?

Kristen & Taylor muy cerca de México!

Kristen, Taylor, and the rest of the Twilight cast have officially set off around the world on their 2009 Twilight Saga: New Moon promotional tour.

KStew and TayLaut arrived and spoke at a press conference on Monday. The cute friends got a little cosy as they posed for pictures at the "Luna Nueva" press event on Tuesday, both looking totally rock and cool (as only the Twilight cast do best).

I am totally loving Kristen's shoes - super cute! And Taylor always looks good in leather..... sigh.

Check out the rest of the photo's here.

Christian Slater: TayLaut, a gentleman, polite and very disciplined

Christian Slater talks about Taylor Lautner in a recent interview for his TV show The Forgotten. Taylor Lautner played Slater's son, Jack Spivey, in a previous series called My Own Worst Enemy (2008), although the show was cancelled after just 9 episodes.

During the interview, Slater talked about a recent reunion between the pair at a Dodgers game, where Taylor had said he'd learned a lot from the actor during their time working together. He went on to say of Taylor,
He couldn’t have been a sweeter kid, and I’m extraordinarily happy for all of his success.

When asked about his reaction to Taylor's recent success and attention from his involvement in the Twilight Saga:

He’s got his head screwed on right. Working with him on MY OWN WORST ENEMY, he was phenomenally impressive. He was a gentlemen, polite, and very disciplined (He’s been doing martial arts his whole life and is really quite masterful at it.) Really, he already possesses a lot of the qualities we all strive to achieve.

His level of discipline and commitment definitely shows through his commitment to working out and bulking up for his role in Twilight Saga's second instalment: New Moon.

16 days!
